Cheesy Goetta Biscuit BItes

1 roll Hot Glier's Goetta ( can use original but the hot goetta packs an extra punch!)

1 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1.5 cups baking mix (we used Bisquick)

1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 (30-oz) package frozen hash browns


These crispy, cheesy biscuit bites are going to be a new staple in your household! 


Here's how to make them:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Farenheit

Ground your goetta up slightly with a knife then in a mixer. Slowly incorporate all other ingredients with an electric mixer using the dough hook attachment. 

Once evenly combined, roll out 1-1.5 inch balls of the mixture and place on a lined, greased baking sheet. 

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are crispy and the mixture is fully baked. 

Remove from the sheet, let cool slightly, serve and enjoy!


Goetta Stuffed Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

1 roll Glier's Goetta

12 mozzarella string cheese sticks

12 egg roll wraps

2 tbsp Olive Oil


Also, keep a small bowl of water on hand for rolling your wraps. 


Optional - Marinara sauce for dipping

Here is the perfect, easy to make snack for whenever you're craving some delicious Goetta and melted cheese. Fry goetta crispy. 

Put cooked goetta into a bowl and mash with a fork until you are left with goetta crumbles.

Remove the plastic wrapping from each cheese stick.

 Roll up each cheese stuck with a spoonful of Glier's Goetta into each egg roll wrapper. Use a little splash of water on each corner of the wrapper to keep it in place.

Using the same pan you used earlier, with leftover oils from the goetta, add olive oil and being frying the rolls. Flip them around until they are fully cooked one each edge. 

Serve with marinara sauce and enjoy! 

Baked Goetta Stuffed Mushrooms

1/2 cup Glier's Goetta crumbles

6-10 white mushrooms (depending on how big or small they are)

2 tbsp grated parmesan

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (or cracker crumbs)

1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese

1/2 tsp minced garlic 

1 tbsp melted muter

1 tsp olive oil

Directions -

Remove stems from mushrooms, chop finely and saute in a pan with olive oil and garlic. Remove from pan and cool. Combine goetta crumbles, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese in a bowl. Brush each mushroom with a light layer of melted butter and scoop the goetta mixture into and on top of each mushroom. If you fit them too high then the mixture might melt off the mushroom while cooking. Top each mushroom with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese Bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes. 

Mini Pancake Goetta Muffins

3/4 Roll Glier's Goetta 

1 Large Egg

1 Cup Milk

1 Cup Flour

1 Tbsp Sugar

1/2 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Baking Powder

1 Tbsp Melted Butter

This recipe is perfect if you have a busy household and hungry kids! Or, if you just need to satisfy that sweet and salty goetta craving. Here's how you make it:


Preheat your oven to 400°F and spray a mini muffin tin. 

Fry goetta into crispy crumbles. 

Combine egg, milk and melted butter into a small bowl, whisk. 

Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder into another bowl. 

Combine your wet ingredients with your dry ingredients. 

Spoon the batter into each muffin tin, filling about 3/4 way full. Then, add a spoonful of goetta crumbles to the top of each. 

Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the batter is fully cooked and lightly golden. 

Remove from tins, let cool, then serve and enjoy!


This recipe pairs perfectly with warm maple syrup! But, it's also delicious on it's own.
